Van Zandt teamed with CDG Interactive to create Geico’s iAd (Apple’s iPhone advertising platform) starring the Gecko. Van Zandt wrote somewhere in the neighborhood of 200 comedic and inspirational lines for the “Gecko’s Wheel of Wisdom” in which the Gecko offers consumers advice and commentary on life.
~ Here is the iAD Film Van Zandt wrote, as the iAd itself only exists on Apple devices in the mobile App format.
Our Geico iAd went on to win “Best in Show” at the IAC Awards, and the Platinum Award for Mobile Advertising at the 41st Creativity International Awards.
